We Love Kari Byron

The sassy and smart redhead who stars on the MythBusters show on the Discovery Channel had quite an auspicious beginning. Her first duties for the MythBusters television program was to have her rear end scanned for an experiment involving airplane toilets. The considerable amount of time she had to spend with her butt thrust into the camera had to have been quite an experience. But it catapulted her into fame as the MythBusters hot chick, known around the world for her fiery red hair and her spunky personality.

While her role on MythBusters might be somewhat tame, her personality is certainly wild and unfettered as she bounces around the MythBusters set during filming. It is easy to see what the producers and directors had in mind when they brought the tall leggy redhead sculptress to the already popular MythBusters program. As evidenced in her first appearance, where she had a scan made of her butt and spent inordinate amounts of time having her butt mapped and scanned and otherwise surveyed in great detail and put on display for MythBusters viewers. It is easy to see how Mrs. Byron has such a tremendous drawing power on members of the opposite sex. Since adding Kari Byron to the MythBusters formula, the show has increased tremendously in popularity and ratings share, very likely the intended impact that the producers wanted to have when they added her to the MythBusters cast.

Kari Byron is every geek’s dream girl, smart, sexy and smoking hot and every television viewer who has spent one too many hours in front of a computer or otherwise involved themselves in the geek lifestyle has a place in his heart for Kari Byron. With the mass appeal that she has on members of both sexes from all walks of life, Kari Byron is possibly the perfect addition to the MythBusters formula. While the show was not doing too poorly, it certainly wasn’t garnering the types of ratings that it currently does since Kari Byron has been added to the show’s cast. While she may have had somewhat of a less than auspicious beginning, posing for a digital butt cast, she has gone on to become the drawing power for the show, bringing new viewers from all walks of life although most are considered to be self-proclaimed nerds and geeks. Regardless of the makeup or the demographics of the viewer base, MythBusters is no doubt glad that they made the decision to hire the phenomenally attractive Kari Byron, as the show and its multimedia appeal has done nothing but increase since hiring her and making her the centerpiece of the MythBusters experience.

While it is obvious that the MythBusters program itself could certainly exist without her, it is plain to see that not only the viewers but the cast numbers as well enjoy her presence on the show. The overwhelming reaction of the fans has been positive to the addition of the sultry and smoking red head to the predominantly male cast of the somewhat geek audience oriented television program.
